Purdy’s Chocolate Fundraiser
Purdys’ chocolates are made fresh in Vancouver from only 100% sustainable cocoa. They have a great selection of chocolate gifts so you can help us out while you get your Christmas shopping done.
The grade 7 french students are raising money for the Quebec Exchange – 25% of your chocolate purchase is returned to the help fund the trip. You can click here to find out how to order your Purdy’s chocolates – orders need to be placed by November 27th and will be available to be picked up at the school on December 14 and 15th.
Chess club is looking for supervisors – Selkirk’s Chess Club is a phenomenon! One of the best attended school clubs in the city. The club meets every Thursday at lunch (12-1:15), chess experience is not required. Please sign up for a Thursday here or feel free to drop by.

Knitting Club Needs Donations!
We have had an overwhelming response to the idea of a knitting club at Selkirk! We are looking for donations of:
-straight knitting needles, ideally size 4-6mm
-yarn of any kind
-spool knitting tools (Knitting Nancy)
We will have a box in the office for these donations.
Volunteers are welcome. Grade 1s and the experienced group will be Mondays at lunch and the beginners will be Wednesdays at lunch.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or are available to volunteer.
